What is Scoutflo?

Scoutflo is a commercial open-source marketplace where businesses can discover alternatives to their proprietary product stack, and deploy the cluster & COSS product without any DevOps experience.

What is Scoutflo Atlas?

Scoutflo Atlas is a marketplace hosting 250+ commercial open source products to help OSS founders increase their discovery and adoption across businesses and contributors. The platform provides advanced search, filtering and comparison features. Users can compare different products to make effective buying decisions and collaborate with their teams by creating and sharing curated COSS stacks.

To keep users updated with real-time data, Scoutflo Atlas automatically updates product info through GitHub API integrations. We also aim to incorporate a custom scoring mechanism that measures the health metrics across tech and business key points of OSS products. This mechanism abstracts various evaluation criteria into one score – helping business/consumers to make better buying decisions.

What is Scoutflo Deploy?

Scoutflo Deploy is a product where you can select your cluster on your preferred cloud platform and deploy our supported COSS products within a few clicks. We've designed it help businesses skip the tedious documentation or the DevOps hassle. We have automated 2 processes: A Kubernetes Cluster Creation in preferred cloud infrastructure and OSS Application deployment on a dedicated custom public domain.

How can I add my Open Source product?

Please email us at or fill out this form to list yourself on Scoutflo!

Can I add the product by myself?

Today, you will have to reach out to the Scoutflo team to list your product to maintain Product quality.

We’ll release a public Content management system[CMS] for all Open Source founders/maintainers soon, to manage their product listing on Scoutflo.

What are the criteria for a product to be on Scoutflo?

Scoutflo is the first-ever Commercial Open Source Marketplace. To be listed on Scoutflo, you have to be:

  • A Open Source Product

  • A paid offering for your customers

  • Have an active support channel for your customers.

Is Scoutflo Open Source?

Scoutflo Atlas is not Open Source yet, however, we’re working on it. Stay tuned on our Discord to be updated!

Why should I choose Open Source over proprietary?
  • No vendor lock-in: With open source, you are free to refuse commercial offers and develop your custom solution based on a fork of the open-source project.

  • Customisation: Open source allows you to fully tailor products to your needs, while proprietary software vendors usually do not let you customize their software unless you upgrade to an enterprise tier.

  • Data Ownership: Open-source software can be self-hosted, allowing you to keep your precious data on your servers.

  • Security: Open source allows everyone to inspect and test the code for security vulnerabilities and bugs.
