Find the right product

Step 1: Use "Search" for Relevant Product:

  1. Search for Relevant Product Category: Find open-source tools in any category you want. Enter the category name to get a curated list of all COSS tools. Type "CRM" into the search bar. Instantly see matching open-source CRM products, or use related keywords like "customer management."

  2. Discover Alternatives: Find open-source alternatives to proprietary tools you use. Enter a proprietary tool's name to get a curated list of similar open-source options.

  3. Use Keywords for Precision: Try searching through your usage-based tags and keywords like to quickly find products for specific use cases or functionalities. For instance, type "data analytics" for data analysis tools.

Step 2: Browse and use "Filters" to streamline the results:

  • Browse through the search results to see a curated list of open-source products related to your search query.

  • Utilize advanced filters to refine your results further. You can narrow down the options based on specific features, functionalities, or other criteria that matter to you.

    1. Categories: Easily navigate through different domains such as "Development," "Security," and more.

    2. Sub-categories: Refine your search within specific categories, like "Web Development" or "Mobile Development."

    3. Forks: Gauge community engagement by filtering products based on the number of times they've been duplicated.

    4. Stars: Identify popular products by filtering based on the number of user favorites.

    5. Licenses: Find products that match your licensing preferences, whether permissive or copyleft.

    6. Tech Stacks: Discover products based on the technologies they're built with, aligning with your tech stack.

Step 3: Compare Products

  • Select a few products from the search results that catch your interest.

  • Click on the "Compare" button next to each product to add them to your comparison list.

  • Access the comparison page to view a side-by-side comparison of features, pricing, and other important details of the selected products.

  • This comparison helps you make an informed decision by visually evaluating the strengths of each product.

Step 4: Save Products for Later

  • Click on the "Save" button next to each product to add them to your personal saved products list.

  • After comparing, you can choose to save the products and comparisons that align with your needs.

  • It will keep a record of products you want to explore further or revisit later.

Step 5: Share with Your Team

  • If you're part of a team, sharing your findings and comparisons is seamless.

  • Click on the "Share" button to send your saved product list and comparisons to your teammates.

  • Collaboration becomes effortless as you work together to identify the best fit for your business needs.

Step 6: Final Decision and Exploration

  • Review your saved products and comparisons to make a final decision.

  • Explore the detailed information about each product, including features, pricing, and community support.

  • Navigate through the Scoutflo Atlas features to discover, compare, and save products that align with your requirements.
